Riviera was the first DVC resort to carry Disney's resale-use restriction: contracts bought on the resale market can only be redeemed at Riviera's own 11-month home-resort window. They cannot book Bay Lake Tower, Polynesian, or any of the 14 other classic DVC resorts the way a Saratoga Springs or Grand Floridian resale contract can.
