Privacy Policy

What We Collect

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how visitors use our site. These tools collect:

• Page views — which pages are visited, in aggregate.
• Performance metrics — Core Web Vitals (page load speed, responsiveness).
• Custom events — calculator usage, CTA clicks. No personal data is attached.

Vercel Analytics is cookieless. It does not track you across sites, does not use cookies, and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Email & Newsletter Data

We collect personal information in two voluntary ways:

Lead Gen Forms

When you submit a quote request form, we collect your name, email address, and resort interest. This data is sent to us via email (using Resend, our email service) so we can connect you with a broker. We do not store this data beyond the email notification itself.

Newsletter Signups

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address, first name, subscription status, and consent metadata (timestamp, IP address, form location, and the agreement text you accepted).

Where It's Stored

Newsletter subscriber data is stored in Vercel Blob Storage, a secure cloud storage service provided by Vercel.

Consent

Newsletter subscription requires explicit opt-in via an unchecked checkbox that you must actively check. After signing up, we send a double opt-in confirmation email — your subscription is only active after you click the confirmation link.

Unsubscribe

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also reply to any email requesting removal, and we will process it promptly.

Deletion Rights

You can request complete deletion of your subscriber data at any time by emailing privacy@dvcgenie.com. We will remove all data associated with your email address within 30 days.

What We Don't Collect

We do NOT collect:

• Personal information beyond what is described above — we only collect data when you voluntarily submit a lead gen form or subscribe to our newsletter.
• Cookies or tracking pixels.
• Cross-site browsing data.
• IP addresses for analytics (Vercel anonymizes these).

Affiliate Links

When you click an affiliate link to a resale broker, the broker may collect data according to their own privacy policy. We do not control or have access to data collected by third parties.

Our affiliate links include UTM parameters (e.g., utm_source=dvcgenie) that tell the broker the traffic came from our site.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Know what data we collect (this page).
• Request deletion of any data we hold.
• Opt out of analytics by using a browser extension like uBlock Origin or by enabling Do Not Track.
